My husband and I recently- as in yesterday opened our dream cafe. We had purchased a coffee maker for this from Eric. The first day, it wasn't keeping the coffee warm. I called Rapids, told them of my problem and figured it would take a few days for them to get back to me and it really made me feel great when I got a call back- I wish I could remember the nice lady's name- and she assured me they would take care of me and send a tech out. Within a couple of hours, the tech was there, fixing it, Dennis was respectful, knowledgeable , explained things that would help me make my unit last longer and fixed the problem. THEN the next day, I received a call from Eric , the sales man that ALWAYS is so helpful when Brent and I stop in. He has a great personality and he called to make sure it was running right, that the problem was solved and checked in. You do not get this kind of service from anyone hardly any longer! So I give this team of great service peeps a10 stars because they helped out when we really needed it and didn't give us a run around.. we are so pleased with Eric, Dennis and the great lady that helped get it all lined up.. go to them.. they are the best!
If you need help with something from Rapids, call instead of live chat! I had an order for new beer faucets that was going on over a week with no updates and decided to call customer service. Alan was very kind and understanding over the phone, even working with me to offer higher-quality faucets at a lower cost to fit into both my urgent timeframe and budget! The whole call took less than 10 minutes and I was extremely appreciative. Will definitely buy from Rapids again!
We ordered a Barmaid March 2023 from rapids wholesale equipment. It started shorting on us early this week so I reached out on Wednesday evening to see if there's anything they could do for us. As a general manager of a restaurant it would have been extremely difficult to go without one as we have a busy weekend ahead. Amy and the staff went above and beyond with helping us out. By Thursday early morning they responded and within a few hours they were able to overnight a new barmaid for us which we promptly received today. Amy then emailed me a label to send back our malfunctioning one. I even offered to pay for the shipping and she told me it wasn't necessary! Amazing communication from start to finish while being kind, polite and extremely helpful. It was a huge relief to me and my team, they made a difficult situation, seamless. Rapids Wholesale is a great company to work with. Besides the fact that they are local to us, they are quite quick in getting anything that we order into their store or shipped directly to us. Eric Colby the retail store manager is a wonderful person to work with. Eric has always been helpful in person and over the phone and has always worked with their vendors/suppliers to get us the best deals he can. This kind of attention to customer service has been a great incentive to shop for all of our Kitchen supplies and even personal kitchen items with Rapids. Eric has always been willing to get us a competitive quote, even up against online websites. Eric has been able to match or come in with the lowest price on many past purchases against both online and other wholesale competitors, which in the long run has saved us on shipping and getting our purchases a lot faster than ordering online.
